Sponsor a teen to be employed in the Social Justice Leadership Academy, a transformative and immersive five-week summer program for Hudson youth. Every summer, we employ youth leaders (ages 16-19) as Senior Fellows to help facilitate and run the program, and to serve as mentors as their younger peers (13-15). By employing teen staff we make participation in the program possible for youth from low-income families, and provide meaningful leadership and employment pathways for youth. In order to be able to hire the same number of teens as we have in past years, we need to raise $10k.
Each teen earns ~$1500 for their work in the five-week program: • Full 5-week stipend for 1 teen: $1500 • 4 weeks: $1200 • 3 weeks: $900 • 2 weeks: $600 • 1 weeks: $300
